At the Threshold: Winter Fades, Spring Awakens
Welcome to March! Can you believe that we are already this far into the year? It feels like we have been on a roller coaster and there is no end in sight to when that will slow down.
We are standing at a threshold, another change in the cycle of the year. The wheel is turning from Winter to Spring and it is quickly coming upon us. We see evidence of this all around us, the days are getting longer, we are starting to see the flowers bloom, and hearing the bird song in the air. It sounds rather idyllic. This is the time of year in the Northern Hemisphere where the earth takes her first breaths of new life. This winter season has felt really long and slow. But paradoxically, the end of February has brought unexpected momentum. Things that you started or thought would take longer might have picked up speed at a rate you were not expecting.
New roots are forming, the ideas and moves we have been making in the shadows of Winter, we can start to watch grow and flourish. As the lunar eclipse on March 3rd approaches, it is asking us to reflect and review.
What are you shedding in order to make space for new growth?
What is holding you back?
Where can you create more balance so you can bloom in Spring?
Nothing has to be decided right now, listen if insights come through. Take time to ground and re-connect to self, our nervous system might feel heightened right now.
This week might feel energetically draining, take care of your vessel. Remember to drink water, nourish the body, take breaks when you need to, take naps if you are tired, stay in if you donβt feel like going out. Eclipses are a time to slow down and not force. What seeds are planted in eclipse season have a way of revealing themselves in their own time.
Growth takes time π
