Cultivating Curiosity and Adventure with the Full Moon
Last night, did you get a chance to go look at the sky? Did you see the Full Moon rising above the horizon?
Wasn’t it beautiful?
I always love to watch the moon rise over the horizon in the evening. It’s always something that has grounded me. To me, within the lunar cycle, the Full Moon phase in the cycle is the show stopper and this month we have two full moons! This one is a Blue Moon, a rare occurrence. The moon flows through the different signs of the Zodiac, moving through each sign every 2-3 days. It happens to be in the sign of Sagittarius. This is the sign of the archer, and is known for being adventurous, expansive and seeking out truths and knowledge. If there has been a feeling of stagnation in an area of your life, this lunation is asking to get re-inspired and seek out what it is that’s important in your life.
During this lunation, make a list of things that I have become interested in or curious about. Think mind mapping, continuous lists, stream of couscous writing, drawing and/ or collaging out your ideas. Then on June 14th, during the New Moon in Gemini, start to do research on some of those topics and plant the seeds.
This lunation leans into curiosity and adventure, it will create momentum for anything that you set into motion.
