The Vision: The Forgotten Part of Ourselves

It can come like a flash of lighting, in a dream, a random daydream, an image. It’s something that deep down we know to be true. A forgotten part of ourselves that is trying to reveal itself to us.

“When we are connected to The Vision, we carry an inspired, enchanted aliveness that others recognize. We trust the world and its synchronicities.” (175) Kim Krans; The Wild Unknown: Archetypes

The Vision by Kim Krans

The Vision archetype is purposefully illusive, it asks you to trust your intuition all the while guiding you down your own personal path for this lifetime. Have you ever noticed that once you plant a seed and it starts to take root, call it Universe/God/ Goddess, it/they start putting things in your path that can come through as messages, images, repeated patterns, synchronicities.  Connected to archetypes of the Scared Fool and The Seed. The Scared Fool is the leap of faith, The Seed is the idea, and The Vision is the inspiration.

Take a pause from reading for one second, close your eyes and think back to a time when you felt in alignment with your personal vision.

Looking to the High Priestess in the Tarot, she invites you to connect to your intuition, look inwards for the knowledge and answers, seeking within yourself. That gut feeling you have guides you towards the paths and places you’re meant to walk down. It’s The Vision archetype made manifest, your body can tell you more than you realize. By tuning into what feeling arises in your body when the seed or vision crosses your thoughts, that could be either a full body yes or a definite no.

The Vision is a peak behind the curtain of what you are meant to be doing. If you have an inkling of something, that’s a sign to move in that direction, take a short walk down that path and see what you can make out of it. You can always pivot.
